Lab Grown Diamonds: Are You Wasting Your Money? The Truth About Synthetic Diamonds

As an update to my popular YouTube video about lab grown diamonds, I made a new video that takes into account the announcement De Beers made about their entry into the synthetic diamond business. I’ve been saying it for years, and now it’s come to pass. The cost of lab grown diamonds is going to continue to plummet because of this. Watch my video to learn why and read the press release issued from De Beers.

If you’re thinking about buying a lab grown diamond, wait. Right now lab grown diamonds are about 25 – 30% less than real diamonds, but in the coming months, synthetic diamonds are going to be the same price as moissanite or cubic zirconia.

If that’s what you want, then by all means go for it. But if you wait 3 – 4 months, you’ll be paying a fraction of the price they are selling for now. Just keep in mind, it will be worth less than what you pay for it. A real diamond however, does not lose its value.
