“Ring” in the New Year!

It’s the beginning of 2018 and while most of us are still recovering from the holidays, others of us are right now planning the perfect proposal and working on creating the perfect engagement ring!

We just read the recent engagement ring  survey from The Knot and found some of the information to be pretty interesting. Particularly, there are a few points discussed regarding the timing and pricing associated with engagement rings, and TBH, it surprised us.

For one, the average spend for an engagement ring went up 25% in 2017. Yikes!

That can really sting and potentially limit your options, depending on what your budget is.

But our question is this: why would you pay retail prices for a diamond engagement ring?

If what you want is a brand name, then that’s your preference and by all means, go for it, but for the rest of us, working with a wholesaler like Dan Moran of Concierge Diamonds can potentially save you a lot of money and get you more diamond and ring for your buck!

Second – The Knot reports that the average time spent looking for a ring is almost four months. Four months! What could you accomplish in four months? To us, this just seems excessive and the reason this process takes so long is because most people don’t have a clue where to start looking.

You could save yourself a ton of time working with a diamond expert like Dan Moran. Why spend four months of your valuable time when you could just leverage the expertise and advice from someone who knows jewelry and diamonds? Wouldn’t the time you save be worth it? And by working with a wholesaler, you’re already saving money.

So off the bat, we’re already saving our clients time and money.

And again we ask, why would you pay retail prices for a diamond ring when you can get the exact same thing from a wholesaler?

What else did we learn from the survey?

Well, 45% of rings bought last year had a custom design! That says to us that brides are wanting a more unique expression of themselves reflected in their rings. By working with a diamond wholesaler and private jeweler your possibilities are literally endless. You’re not buying something off the rack, something that 10,000 other people are wearing.

We believe that an engagement ring should be as unique as your bride to be.

Custom rings are also less expensive. How? Check out this interview we had with Rustic Wedding Chic to learn more!

To recap, working with a private jeweler and wholesaler like Dan Moran of Concierge Diamonds, you can:

  1. Save money
  2. Save time
  3. Create a custom design that’s less expensive

There are endless other benefits to working with Concierge Diamonds, such as a lifetime warranty, an upgrade policy and much more, but you’ll have to see for yourself!
